As savvy business owners we’re always looking for new ways to make the highest possible impact at the lowest cost.
Today, reviews aren’t just a way for people to give you feedback. They directly influence and either encourage or discourage new and future business.
But we’re not talking about just any reviews, we’re talking Google reviews. The more reviews you have the more legitimate your business appears to those who are searching for companies like yours.
So, unless you’re sitting pretty at 4.9 star Google rating with 200+ reviews, you need more.
Easier said than done, right?
You’d be surprised how a little extra effort in simply reaching out and asking, goes a LONG way.
How do we know?
We took our own medicine and gave it a try!
We’ve always had a healthy amount of reviews in our customer portal so we started reaching out to any clients we didn’t see in our reviews already.
“Hey there, would you mind taking a few minutes to write a review of your experience with High Level Thinkers on Google?”
A one sentence email or text message asking for their honest experience with no incentives.
In one week, we went from 5 to 22 Google reviews and got 3 new leads (all of which mentioned our star rating on Google), just like that!
We’re going to implement “the review request” as a standard, best practice internally from now on because there’s only one way to get what you want (especially when it comes to reviews), you’ve gotta ask…all the time!
